- Length held: Minimum 2 years
- Points*: Up to two minor offences in the past 5 years is OK (no more than 6 points)

To see full details please see our
driver details page.
2. Can I win this as a gift for somebody else? Yes absolutely - you as the winner need to claim the prize by providing your ID but you may gift it to some body else. We are happy to provide a gift voucher if you are the lucky winner!
3. Is insurance included in the hirer? Yes it's all included in the prize - no more to pay for insurance.
4. Is there a damage deposit payable for the hire? Yes - this is usually £500 which covers the excess on the insurance. Occasionally if you do not meet the standard criteria but the insurance will cover you with a higher excess we will just ask you to pay the deposit equivalent to that excess (rarely more than £750). The deposit is payable on or just before the day of the booking and we refund it once the van is returned in the same condition it was taken.
5. Is there anymore to pay other than the damage deposit? No - just however many tickets you buy to win the prize and the damage deposit.
6. Is there a mileage allowance? Yes it's 200 miles per day and if you go over that it's 20p per mile. It's rare our hirers exceed the mileage allowance as its very generous.
7. What additional extras are included in the prize? We are happy to include all our
additional extras apart from the early check in/check out and the hampers (we always provide a welcome hamper as standard). You can choose what you think you would use and let us know if you are the winner.
8. What happens if I have an accident whilst on hire? Firstly - it's ok... it happens! Secondly we have been very lucky with Chamonix as she is very easy to drive and therefore our hirers have barley done any damage so far.
If it does happen we ask hirers to firstly note down the details of the accident including where it happened, what the damage is and any third party details if there is anyone else involved. We then ask them to contact us to let us know the details and then we can contact the insurers. If the van is not drivable then we will arrange for a break down company to bring the van back home so we can get it repaired. If the van is still drivable safely then you can continue with your trip however if it isn't and needs returning then unfortunately that would mean we would need to need your trip and the prize useage will have finished.
9. Can I leave my car with you when I pick Chamonix up? Yes - we have plenty of parking space for your vehicle
10. Is breakdown cover included? Yes for UK and EU travel.
11. Can you deliver the van to me? Our preference is for you to collect the van but delivery can be arranged at cost (our time plus transportation expenses)
12. Are dogs and children allowed? Yes and yes although Chamonix is only big enough for 1 medium sized dog or 2 small dogs. She is a 3 berth so is big enough for 1 child plus 2 adults or 2 children and 1 adult.
